A large ranch home with about 3,900 square feet of roof. We tore the old roof off to the deck, replaced 10 sheets of damaged decking, put GAF FeltBuster synthetic underlayment down over the whole roof, and installed new dark gray architectural shingles.

A two-story home in Dresher with about 2,900 square feet of roof. The old shingles were worn and cracking. We tore the roof off to the deck, replaced damaged decking and installed new architectural shingles. We also installed a new VELUX deck-mounted fixed skylight with laminated safety glass and a solar-powered darkening shade.

The old roof here was missing shingles in places and had been patched. We tore it off, replaced the damaged decking we found underneath, and installed a new GAF shingle roof with new flashing, pipe boots and ridge caps. We also replaced the front and rear gutters with 5-inch gutters and new downspouts, replaced the rotted rear fascia board, capped it, and installed new vinyl soffit along the rear.

What We See on Hatboro and Horsham Roofs

On all three of these jobs, some of the decking under the old shingles was damaged, and we replaced it before the new roof went on. That is why every estimate we write includes replacing damaged decking; it is not a surprise add-on after tear-off. When the gutters, fascia or soffit are worn too, we replace them in the same job, as we did on Broadway Avenue.
