United Veterans Roofing is a veteran-owned, GAF Master Elite roofing contractor based in Newtown, about 20 minutes from Bensalem. UVR has completed 11 jobs in Bensalem, Trevose and Feasterville. Below are three of them, from a full exterior rebuild to a new roof and siding and a commercial flat roof repair, with photos taken by our crews on the job.
Recent Bensalem Projects
Metal Roof, Siding and Trim, East Street Road

This single-story building on East Street Road got a new exterior from the roof down. We tore the old roof off to the plank boards, put down new plywood sheathing and installed a standing-seam metal roof. The walls were wrapped in Tyvek HomeWrap and re-sided in two finishes: dark lap siding and a vertical wood-tone panel. The job also covered custom metal trim in dark bronze, new soffit, new corners, wrapped and trimmed windows, and a skylight. In 2026 the owner had us back to add gutter guards.
New Roof and Siding, Steele Road

This two-story home had a brown shingle roof with dark streaks running down it and tan siding. We tore off the old roof and put on new charcoal shingles, then stripped the siding, wrapped the walls and re-sided the house in gray-blue vinyl with white trim.
Commercial Flat Roof Repair, Camer Drive

Trees grow right up to this commercial building on Camer Drive. When we inspected the flat roof in September, leaves and debris had piled up along the parapet walls and around the drains, and the membrane at a drain outlet was torn. In November our crew relined a drain outlet with new membrane.
What We See on Bensalem-Area Roofs
Bensalem sits in lower Bucks County on the Philadelphia line, and the work here is a mix of homes and commercial buildings. Trees are the common thread. On Camer Drive they dropped enough leaves on a flat roof to bury the drains, and on East Street Road and Steele Road mature trees stand close to the roofline. Flat roofs with parapet walls need their drains kept clear, and pitched roofs under trees stay damp and fill their gutters. On East Street Road the owner later added gutter guards.

Bensalem Roofing FAQs
- Can you replace the siding at the same time as the roof?
- Yes. On Steele Road we replaced the roof and re-sided the whole house in one job, and on East Street Road we did the metal roof, siding, soffit and trim together.
- Do you repair commercial flat roofs?
- Yes. On Camer Drive we inspected a commercial flat roof, found debris blocking the drains and a torn drain outlet, and came back to reline it. See our commercial roofing and flat roofing pages for more.
- Do you install metal roofs?
- Yes. The East Street Road project has a standing-seam metal roof paired with custom dark bronze metal trim. Ask about metal roofing when you request a quote.
- What does GAF Master Elite mean for me?
- Only a small share of roofing contractors are certified as GAF Master Elite. It lets us offer GAF's strongest system warranties, which cover the whole roof system and our workmanship, not just the shingles.
- Do you work in Trevose, Feasterville and the rest of Bucks County?
- Yes. We cover Bensalem, Trevose, Feasterville and the rest of Bucks County, including Newtown, Warminster and Doylestown.
