United Veterans Roofing is a veteran-owned, GAF Master Elite roofing contractor based in Newtown, about 20 minutes from Bustleton and Somerton, just across the Bucks County line. Commercial TPO Roof, Geiger Road
A large commercial building on Geiger Road. We tore off the old built-up roof, added about 400 feet of new 2x8 lumber where the roof needed it, fastened new insulation boards across the whole roof and covered it in TPO. We installed three new TPO roof drains so water leaves the roof instead of standing on it.
Storm-Damaged Roof Replaced, Par Drive
We inspected this roof in February 2023 and marked the damaged shingles. In the spring we tore the roof off, replaced damaged decking, lined the valleys with leak barrier, and installed a new GAF Timberline HDZ roof across the whole house, including its steep front gables.
Roof Replacement, New Decking and Gutters, Audubon Place, Somerton
A stone-front split-level in Somerton. We tore off the old roof, replaced the damaged decking with new sheathing, and installed a new GAF shingle roof over synthetic underlayment. We finished with new gutters.
What We See in Northeast Philadelphia
Bustleton and Somerton mix neighborhoods of single homes and split-levels with commercial and light-industrial buildings, many of them with large flat roofs. On those, the problems we see are water that doesn't drain and old built-up roofs that have reached the end of their life, which is why the Geiger Road job included new drains. On homes, a lot of our calls start with storm damage, as Par Drive did. We inspect, mark what we find and photograph it, so you can see exactly what we see.
