Flat Roofs and a Mansard Re-Roof, South Main Street, North Wales
An older brick building on South Main Street with low-slope roofs and a mansard front. Its flat roofs were old painted metal, patched at the seams. In 2021 we replaced them with a white single-ply flat roof system, with a permit. In 2023 we stripped the mansard down to its board sheathing and re-roofed it around its three arched dormers, with a new roof on the section above.
Porch Roof Rebuilt in Standing-Seam Metal, Shearer Street, North Wales
When we opened up this home's porch roof, the framing along its edge had rotted through. We rebuilt it with new lumber and covered the porch in copper-colored standing-seam metal, which suits a low porch slope better than shingles.
Roof, Siding and Gutters, Conestoga Lane, Lansdale
A full exterior on a two-story home. We tore off about 2,200 square feet of roof, replaced 9 sheets of damaged decking and put the new roof down over GAF synthetic underlayment. The upper story got new siding over fanfold insulation board, with CertainTeed Invisivent vinyl soffit, the windows wrapped in trim, three new shutters, and 230 feet of 6-inch seamless gutter with 3-by-4 downspouts.
